Behind Ghost Cowboy
Ghost Cowboy is the illustrated world of Eva Benefield — made in Charleston, SC and inspired by beach days, odd little characters, tiny cowboys, and whatever catches her eye.
Ghost Cowboy began as a place for Eva to turn everyday ideas, strange little observations, and coastal inspiration into something people could wear. What starts in a sketchbook eventually becomes a tee, crew, hat, or whatever fits the drawing best.
How it's made
It all starts in a sketchbook with silly ideas, salty days, and a cast of characters.
The sketch is cleaned up, colored, and prepared for print — turning a doodle into a design that feels like summer.
The finished design becomes soft, high-quality apparel and goods made for beach days, good times, and wherever the sun takes you.
